The decision to see a therapist can be daunting. Do you find yourself asking the following?
“ How do I know I really need a therapist?”
” How will I find the right therapist for me?”
” Do I need a therapist or somebody that can perscribe me medication?
” Do I need to find somebody who takes my insurance?”
” I work a full time job, how am I supposed to make time for this?”
We get it.

Areas of Practice
social Anxiety
Social Anxiety is one of the most overlooked and prevalent mental health issues today. Whether you get nervous around crowds, overthink how you’re coming across to other people or feel uncomfortable when meeting new people, therapy can help. We use CBT, an effective, goal oriented intervention that can help you feel more comfortable in social situations.
sELF-ESTEEM
We believe that healthy self-esteem is the foundation to living a satisfactory life. Low self-esteem can be a source for a multitude of issues including anxiety, depression, anger issues, substance abuse and relationship problems. We help clients explore their self-perception and combat maladaptive thought processes that are holding them back from being the best version of themselves.
DEPRESSION
Depression can take many forms. Some of the symptoms of depression include constantly feeling sad, general discontent or struggling to find motivation. In addressing depression, we take a solution-focused and client-centered approach. This means that we will help you explore how your symptoms are impacting you and then follow up with tools and coping skills to help reduce depressive symptoms.
stress management/life transitions
Work/life balance, relationship stress, parenting and relocation are all examples of life events that can impact mental health and emotional well-being. We help clients build the skills and develop the tools necessary to navigate this type of stress successfully.
ADDICTION
Addiction is prevalent in today’s society more than ever. Our comprehensive approach to substance abuse is utilized to meet our clients where they are in their recovery process. Additionally, we provide counseling for family members of those who are struggling with addiction or working through recovery.
trauma
We understand the impact that trauma can have on your life. If not properly addressed, a traumatic past or even a single event can lead to depression, relationship issues, self-esteem problems and anxiety. A trauma specialist can help you learn how to live your life without trauma defining it.
